OUR TEAM

Owner & Piano Teacher
Catherine Ho
I began my journey at 4 but really only started to take it seriously by teach myself during my teenage years. At the age of 18, I pursued formal training for AMEB testing, which laid the foundation for my academic and professional music career.
Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Music and Languages, as well as a Master of Teaching - qualifying me as a high school music teacher. I've had 10 years of private piano teaching and 4 years of teaching in high schools.
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that music is a deeply personal journey. Every student is different, and learning music should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience at every level. My goal is to offer engaging, personalized lessons that celebrate progress, creativity, and confidence.
At Vivere Music, we strive to provide high-quality learning materials so that anyone can learn their favourite instrument with clarity and confidence.

Piano Teacher
Nelson Lin
I began my musical journey 15 years ago and have completed up to the CMus Piano Certificate through AMEB. This journey has allowed me to refine both my performance abilities and my teaching methods, enabling me to share my passion for the piano with others - developing my strong technical skills and a deep love for music.
My teaching approach combines performance experience with a focus on technique and theory while simultaneously creating a supportive environment where students can grow and thrive. I believe in building a solid foundation while tailoring lessons to suit each student's learning style and goals. Whether you are learning for personal enjoyment or aiming for more formal achievement, I aim to make every lesson engaging and accessible.
My goal is not only to help students reach their musical aspirations but also to inspire a lasting passion for music. I want students to connect with music on a deeper level, growing both as musicians and individuals. Let's work together to make music that you love!

My teaching approach is student-focused, adapting lessons to suit individual learning styles and goals while
fostering creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
I began studying piano in 2013 and trained through private lessons until 2017, reaching Grade 5 in the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exam. I then continued my piano studies at the Jaya Suprana School of Performing Arts, founded by Indonesian pianist Jaya Suprana, where I obtained an Advanced 2 level before stopping in 2023 to pursue studies abroad.
With the support of structured teacher training and professional resources, I focus on building technical skills, delivering tailored and engaging piano lessons, and fostering confidence, and musical enjoyment.
